After promising to release only five studio albums under his own name, American Country musician and actor Sturgill Simpson, marks the beginning of a new era with Johnny Blue Skies and the release of debut album Passage Du Desir - Out July 12. 

Produced by David Ferguson, these previously unreleased songs were partly written in Paris, and recorded in historic Abbey Road Studios and Nashville, TN's Clement House Recording Studio. This new collection of songs are deeply personal and showcase musical styles familiar to Sturgill Simpson fans, while also introducing a diverse and widened musical landscape.
